We look forward to officially opening Mumbles Skatepark on Saturday June 10th, from noon - 6pm. 
 

We strongly recommend using public transport on the day as there is NO parking near the event.

The park and ride at Swansea Recreational Ground (The Rec) is advisable. Buses run from the Quadrant, via the Rec to Blackpill (next to the Texaco garage), which is the nearest stop to the skatepark (3 minute walk).

• 2A. Swansea - Newton.
• 2B. Swansea - Limeslade.
• 2C. Swansea - Caswell Bay.
• 3A. Swansea - Oystermouth.

the Swansea Bay Rider Land Train will also be running a park and ride service from The Rec to Blackpill Lido.

The cost for the park and ride facility will be £6 per car which will include a parking ticket and a ticket for the occupants on the Land Train. The stop for the land train will be opposite the Rec car park just before the pedestrian crossing. It will operate back and forth from the Rec to Blackpill Lido throughout the day. 10mins each way. (Every 20 mins from Recreation Car Park).

This will be beneficial in avoiding excessive traffic, also offering a scenic route along the prom.

Please make sure you bring plenty of water on the day.
