Volunteer Day at Norton Nature Reserve

MCC has now made progress towards the Norton Nature Reserve SMUGS Project.

After some delays and unforeseen difficulties in progressing work at the Norton Nature Reserve SMUGS project, we have now made really good progress in clearing the site, putting up the shed, and installing the pond. We are now able to really start work on creating the nature reserve and community allotment.

So, we are organising a series of volunteer workdays, the first of which will be Saturday, December 4th.There will be two sessions, one at 10.00am -12.00pm and one 2.00pm - 4.00pm.

We hope to see as many of you as can come at one - or even both! - sessions. It would be helpful to get an idea of numbers if you could let us know if you will be coming. For those of you traveling by public transport, we would normally reimburse your fares, but the good news is that all buses in Swansea will be free throughout every weekend between now and Christmas!

Please wear strong boots or wellies and if you have them, please bring gloves, but we do have some you can borrow if you don't have your own. If you have had tools - forks, trowels, etc. please bring those too
