When voters in the Oystermouth and Mayals wards go to the polls on 6 May to elect members of the Welsh Parliament (or Senedd Cymru) they will find themselves given another ballot paper.
Community Council elections are being held to fill two long-term vacancies following the resignations of former councillors Carwyn Thomas and Mike Griffiths.
Rebecca Child (Labour) and Michal Parkin (Conservative) will contest the Oystermouth Ward election with Phil Keeton (Labour) and Louise Thomas (Conservative) standing in the Mayals Ward.
Mumbles Community Council Chair, Cllr Dr Martin O’Neil said, “I am looking forward to meeting our two new colleagues, it will be good to return to a full strength team of 18 councillors”
