The Evening Post, 1st November 2014 reports that “plans to transfer the management of Underhill park from the City council to a private company will be unveiled at a public meeting on November 10th”
Mumbles Sports and Community Club is looking to take over the running of Underhill Park.
Details of the scheme will be outlined at All Saints Church, Oystermouth at 7.00pm on 10th November.
The meeting has been called by Cllr. Miles Thomas and Cllr. Tony Colburn and will discuss the proposed transfer of the management of the Park. Cllr Colburn said ” There will be a presentation by the company on its future intentions and officers from Swansea Council will be present to answer questions”.
Cllr.Colburn said a report on the proposals will be going before the Council’s Cabinet this month, when more details will be known.
