A letter in the Evening Post from Alan and Hazel Bryant, 24th July 2015, highlights the rapidly deteriotion in the appearance of Oystermouth.
They point out that “Mumbles is a magnet for tourists and the local traders are heavily dependant on visitors for survival. But with visitors comes litter”.
This letter highlights not only the litter problem but dog-mess, damage to roads and pavements and makes many other points also including the the state of Oystermouth Square and also the Pier.
Well done for pointing out these faults. The Mumbles Community Council does do its best keep the City Council aware of these problems and to ensure that necessary repair works are carried out as quickly as possible.
Please write to the Community Council if you have any other concerns about the state of Mumbles/Oystermouth.
