The Evening Post Reporter, Helen Keates, under the above big headlines, tells us that “the City centre is being treated to an ultra clean ahead of the Christmas period”.
All the pedestrian areas and street furniture such as benches and bins are getting a thorough power wash.
Mark Thomas, cabinet member for environment and transport said ” Thousands of shoppers visit our city centre shops every day and we want it looking as clean and inviting as possible”.
Well I certainly agree that this is a sensible approach BUT what is going to happen in MUMBLES?
This is a very well sort after place to visit, by thousands of vistors. The only problem is that Mumbles could also do with a bit of TLC, so has this been considered by the City with regards to a “big clean and sheen”.
So how about it Mr Thomas what about MUMBLES/OYSTERMOUTH having a share of the Big clean ready for their visitors?
