A report in the Evening Post , Tuesday 24thMay, by Reporter Richard Youle tells us that the developers of the Tivoli complex are planning to replace the one storey arcade, known as Tivoli Walk

with a two storey structure, with roof terraces and a recessed restaurant terrace comprising the second storey element.

Mumbles Community Council has a casual vacancy in the West Cross Ward and is looking to fill this vacancy by co-option.

Anyone who wishes to apply for the co-option should contact the Clerk of the Council on 363598 for an application pack.  These packs need to be returned before 12noon on Tuesday 31 May 2016.

Maytime in Mumbles is an early Summer Community Event presented by Mumbles Community Council. This is a family event with a picnic based theme. So come along and enjoy a carefree afternoon in the safe confines of Oystermouth Castle Field.
Bring your own picnic and augment it, if necessary, on site, or pic-up-a-picnic on the day from the street vendors attending the function.
Added attractions to your picnic include, donkey rides, sure to be an attraction with the children, Perriswood Hawking and Archery Centre, chair-o-plane roundabout, hoopla, and Swansea Accordion Band. A local Animal Charity, The Pettifor Trust will also be supporting this event.
