Replacement sewers scheme is set to commence this month (November) and will continue into next summer.
The Evening Post Reporter, Richard Youle gives a detailed account in thPost on the 29th October where he advises that “The £2.7 million project will focus on Summerland Lane, Newton, Dunns Lane and Newton Road. The materials will be stored in Oystermouth Square”.
There will be temporary road closures on a section of Summerland Lane, Newton and upper Newton Road.

We are sorry to announce the passing of Aubrey Peter Jones, former Councillor and Chair of Mumbles Community Council.
The announcement in the Evening Post, 26th October 2015 , quote ” Peacefully after a long illness bravely borne”
Peter was a very well known former member of the Council and as a resident of Mumbles . He will be sadly missed, his funeral was held at Margam
on Friday 30th October and was very well attended.
