It is reported that Mumbles RFC’s youth team will play in the Ospreys A Division next season.

This is said to be the strongest standard of youth rugby in South West Wales.

A spokesman for the club said ” The club feel that this will complement the first XV who will be playing in Swalec division two west.”

Here’s wishing them all the best.

Evening Post article by Reporter, Chad Welch, 25th July 2015 highlights the problem for the these wonderful entertainers. The Baywood Belles have spent almost 20 years touring with their free of charge live entertainment shows around Welsh nursing homes, hospitals and senior citizen’s clubs for 19 years.

Swansea Council, it is reported, are working with local community groups the see if senior citizen pavilions like Baywood Hall, in West Cross can continue to run by groups who will generate income to pay for the running of the building.

If any groups or organisations can help The Baywood Belles you are invited to contact Mrs. Cheyney on 01792 367758.
