On Friday 24th we held a quiz and musical evening at the West Cross Community Centre. The entertainment was provided by the Swansea Accordion Orchestra, who were brilliant. Next week we embark on the Teen Festival involving cage football and hockey, a five a side match on Thursday and a musical evening at the Red Cafe. Lee Trundle will present the trophies to the winning football teams at the unplugged night.

The Dylan thomas story writing competition came to a climax during the Oyster Festival when the winners were awarded their certificates. We had an excellent response and many people are urging us to publish some of the entries. Three winners have been awarded tokens for £25 worth of books and have won £100 for their school library.
