A half marathon is being organised by JCP Solicitors in support of fund raising for the Mumbles RNLI Charity.
A further £136,000 is being sought before the appeal closes in September.
Details of the route for the 13.1 mile event on the 20th July is still being finalised.

A report in the Evening Post, 5th May 14 tells us that a planning application for luxury homes in a four house development at Langland Bay has been turned down as it is described as a “carbuncle”.
City Councillor, Miles Thomas said that many residents in the area had objected, also the scheme was opposed by the Mumbles Community Council and the Langland Bay Residents Association.
The Evening Post, 5th May 14 states that the 72 Swansea City Councillors will be asked to complete a training course to improve their skills in the use of Information Technology (I.T.).
A report suggests that any costs would be minimal and would be met from existing budgets. It also states that “Training and personal development is vital for councillors, also puts emphasis on broader skills, which are applicable in a wide range of situations such as decision making and creative thinking”
