A report by Nino Williams, Evening Post 17th December tells us that on Thursday19th December a public consultation will take place at the West Cross Community Centre between 5pm and 7pm .

This meeting  is where you will be able to discuss with cabinet members how the Swansea Council can save £45 million over the next 3 years.

Cabinet member for regeneration, Nick Bradley said “One of the most important messages I want to get over to people is that no decisions have been made” .

Hard-copy versions of the online consultation will be available at libraries, district housing offices and anumber of community centres.

Lord Williams, the former Archbishop of Canterbury will be making his first return visit to his home parish of Oystermouth since retiring last year.

On Sunday the 22nd December he and Lady Williams will be at All Saints Church, Mumbles where he will preach at a special service from 10am.
